“Maitei” is the Guarani word for “hello”.
Guarani is one of the official languages of my beloved Paraguay, as well as Bolivia and two provinces in Argentina, spoken by 6.5 million people total.

I have a 6-plus year background in virtual assistance for entrepreneurs and business owners.
To this I bring an eclectic blend of personal experiences and professional adventures to deliver highly unique results that make your voice heard.
My unique life journey brought me to the world of virtual assistance, almost seven years ago when my longtime partner began blazing his own trail through international ventures and needed someone to not only manage the details of his business, but also, you know, “manage him”.
Entrepreneurs who have people working for them, and the people who work for entrepreneurs – not to mention all the great Novias of the world – understand what “manage him” means. 😊
My life journey is about finding connections and common ground in diverse situations.
Coming from a politically, culturally, and ethnically diverse family background deeply rooted in the history and development of Paraguay, I’ve come to see myself as an outsider looking in as a result of being exposed to often conflicting world views from an early age as the daughter of a couple that proves that complete opposites can sometimes attract each other.
I guess I’m what’s known as a “cycle breaker” and I’m accustomed to dealing with the ripple effects of changing narratives and patterns.
As I said: story of my life.
Everything I know about marketing to make your voice heard has come from jumping in and just doing it.
Four years ago, I began involvement in podcasting and content marketing when I met an American entrepreneur in an online forum who was starting a venture helping entrepreneurs launch podcasts.
While I knew nothing about those things at the time, the same “can-do” spirit and willingness to explore the unknown that has opened so many doors in my life drove me to accept the opportunity.
Thank goodness, I turned out to be pretty good at it! 😊
Lately, I’ve been involved in the fast growing world of artificial intelligence. I firmly believe it will be of great use to society when we understand everything it can do to help us run better businesses and have better lives.
I live with my partner in beautiful, exciting, fun Ciudad del Este, sometimes called the “Wild West of Paraguay” even though it’s on the eastern border.
I’m the caretaker of a nearby cat colony.
In my fun time I enjoy reading, writing, gardening, visiting wineries, and I’m an avid fan of 3 de Febrero.
